AT Mcnears beach park in san rafael Hosted by Tamalpais Shambhala

We are delighted to announce that there will be a regional sangha picnic on Sunday, July 14 at beautiful McNears Beach Park, right on the water, in San Rafael. Please join us for this wonderful opportunity to relax and enjoy being in community after so long!

The space we will gather in is the one at the far north side of the park. Ask the ranger for directions when you enter. There is a fee per car for parking. Unfortunately dogs and other domestic animals are not allowed, with the exception of dogs trained and used as service animals.

Bring your kids (and grandkids)! There is a sand volleyball court as part of the space and it's right on the water’s edge for water play. Bring bathing suits if you’d like to pay an extra fee to swim in the pool. Mid-July can be hot! And don’t forget hats and sunscreen.

Please bring a potluck item, your own plates and utensils, picnic cloths for tables and to spread out on the grass. There is ample shade over the tables and some of the play area.
